SRS TruMedia and Other SRS Audio Solutions Now Compliant With Consortium’s APIs

SANTA ANA, Calif., February 15, 2010 – SRS Labs (NASDAQ:SRSL), the industry leader in surround sound, audio, and voice technologies, announced today that it has joined the Khronos Group, and that its mobile audio solutions are now compliant with the group’s popular OpenMAX and OpenSL ES Application Programming Interface (API).

The Khronos Group is a tech industry consortium of more than 100 companies that aim to create open standard APIs that enable the authoring and playback of rich media on a wide variety of platforms and devices.
