SRS Labs, First Audio Company to Join LiMo Foundation

SRS Sound Solutions Now Shipping on Select LiMo-Based Mobile Handsets

SANTA ANA, Calif., February 15, 2010SRS Labs (NASDAQ:SRSL), the industry leader in surround sound, audio, and voice technologies, announced today that it has joined the LiMo (Linux Mobile) Foundation™ to become the first sound technology company to join the ranks of the mobile industry’s global consortium.

The LiMo Foundation provides the mobile industry with an open, consistent Mobile Linux-based handset OS, enabling the development of immersive, next-generation mobile consumer experiences. SRS has currently contributed to the Linux-based OS through the implementation of VIP+™ and TruMedia™ within several NEC mobile handsets.
